Since its charter, Watsonville Elks Lodge #1300 has been one of the most active fraternal halls on the Central Coast, drawing members, families, and neighbors through its doors for everything from holiday banquets to weekend car shows. The lodge sits at 121 Martinelli St, easy to find and easier to love once you step inside.

The main hall opens up for private parties, fundraisers, and community gatherings with real flexibility: full catering, a separate cash bar room, and decoration options that range from backyard-BBQ casual to formal holiday spread. Reviewers consistently call out the ample parking and the variety of food choices as standout details that make planning a large event here genuinely stress-free.

The Elks are a charitable fraternal order with deep roots in supporting veterans, youth programs, and local causes. Lodge #1300 carries that mission forward in Watsonville, pairing community impact with a venue that actually knows how to throw a party.

What We Offer

The lodge's event rental program is the most talked-about offering in recent visitor reviews. Rent the hall for a holiday party, quinceañera, retirement celebration, or community fundraiser and the team handles catering logistics so you can focus on your guests. BBQ packages, buffet-style spreads, and custom decoration setups are all on the table.

Elks membership opens a second door entirely: access to lodge activities, civic programs, scholarship opportunities, and a brotherhood that extends to Elks lodges across the country. Members also enjoy use of the clubroom and bar, which operates separately from the main event hall, keeping private parties and member socializing comfortably distinct.

The lodge regularly hosts community events like the family car show that drew enthusiastic crowds and five-star reactions. If your organization is looking for a central Watsonville venue with character, history, and real logistical support, this is the address to call.

"Great party venue for holiday gathering. Catering available, with great food. There's a cash bar in a separate room. Lots of food and deco choices including bbq with plenty of parking. Decorations were beautiful with fresh flowers. Stale cigarette smoke greets you at the front door but was not noticable in the main (dining) room."

"Worst experience for an elks lodge, the lady in charge is watching everyone like a hawk from the window and has no chill…. U walk out to the parking lot and she watching you!!! such an unpleasant experience when ur celebrating with family to have someone burning a hole in ur neck with her stare….. would not recommend this place it’s so small and runned down. And one last thing if u try and and question her at a tone she does not like she’ll threaten to call the cops and shut the place down….. beware of this place honestly. Think twice"

"Unfortunately both times I've been here were following funerals I was attending. This is where the receptions were held. The layout was perfect and the staff working the bar were all nice but didn't know how to make a Mai Tai. Not a big deal but funny nonetheless. Anyways a great place to hold larger events."

"Can only comment on the RV parking. We've stayed her twice and it's nice and close to the places we wanted to visit. It's only available to Elk members. Not a lot of spaces and they are on dirt. Water and electric hook-ups. Very friendly people."
